When you choose the guide rail, you often have doubts about preloading, today PYG to explain to you what is preloading? So why adjust the preload?
Because the gap and preloading of the linear guiding directly affect the use and performance of the linear guide, the preloading refers to the pre-loading force of the steel ball (increasing the diameter of the steel ball), the negative gap between the steel ball and the track is given to the preloading, improving the rigidity and eliminating the gap. Preloading grades are further divided into light preloading (Z0), medium preloading (ZA), and heavy preloading (ZB).
Light preloading (Z0) : Minimal vibration, good load balance, light and precise movement.
Medium preload (ZA) : moderate vibration, subjected to moderate external suspension load.
Heavy preloading (ZB) : with vibration and shock, withstand external suspended load.
Because the rail bearing system needs to withstand the force from the load when working, it must be ensured that there is not too much swing amplitude under the load, and its accuracy and life are correct, and the role of preloading is to apply a certain pressure to make the guided rail form a certain arc to ensure that it will not produce too much swing under the work load.
